About the position Responsibilities • Customer application engineering of Motorsport products on-site at customer, track, and other development sites • Interface with development teams to ensure alignment of application activities relevant to development Motorsport products • Adherence to applicable software and product development processes to ensure expected high quality • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve both component and system level issues related to software implementation of Motorsport products in end use applications • Integration of continuous improvement practices into daily work to improve performance, timing, cost, and quality • Opportunity to expand role in additional product areas outside of application engineering, such as project management Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, Mechanical (with software or controls emphasis) Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent • 0 - 2 years of experience in application engineering or calibration engineering (academic or industry experience) • 0 - 2 years of experience in account management in a client interfacing role (complete customer journey cycle) • Industry experience in professional Motorsport, significant FSAE, or equivalent Nice-to-haves • Experience working with ICE, hybrid and/or battery electric vehicles • Experience with programming and scripting including: MATLAB, Simulink, Python; especially in conjunction with data processing and/or for simulation purposes • Hands-on automotive experience related to holistic vehicle system design and analysis (e.g. engine repair work/rebuilds, engine management, etc.) • Experience in using test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscope, CANalyzer, dSPACE and/or ETAS prototyping systems, etc.) • Experience with networks and related technologies (IP, cloud) • Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics and debug software and electrical implementation issues • German language skills Benefits • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Adoption assistance • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, Mechanical (with software or controls emphasis) Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in application engineering or calibration engineering (academic or industry experience)
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in account management in a client interfacing role (complete customer journey cycle)
  • Industry experience in professional Motorsport, significant FSAE, or equivalent
