Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC on a full-time basis. The Role We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our elite team at GM Motorsports. Our team supports racing in multiple series, including NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, and Formula 1. As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will collaborate with the design group to perform structural analysis using theoretical principles, finite element analysis (FEA), and optimization techniques. Your goal will be to achieve weight-efficient and robust designs for components and assemblies. Additionally, you will prepare and present detailed reports to the team and scrutinize load cases for design and analysis purposes. What You'll Do • Utilize structural engineering expertise and finite element (FE) pre/post processing skills. • Proficiently interpret and work with solids, surfaces, complex assemblies, and technical drawings. • Collaborate effectively with various program team members. • Demonstrate analytical thinking, client-oriented focus, and a highly structured approach, coupled with excellent relationship-building and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Multi-task efficiently in a dynamic, ever-changing setting, bringing a strong work ethic and integrity. #LI-LP2
