About the position
The No1 Race Mechanic plays a crucial role in the assembly, service, and operation of the race car, reporting directly to the Competition Manager. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and hands-on experience in motorsport mechanics. The lead mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that the race car is not only operational but also optimized for performance and safety. This involves close collaboration with the Engineering team to address any technical issues and to ensure that all components meet the required specifications for safety and performance. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality in all mechanical work. The No1 Race Mechanic will also be involved in pre-race preparations, including thorough inspections and adjustments to the car, as well as post-race evaluations to identify areas for improvement. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the team remains competitive and compliant with all series regulations.
Responsibilities
• Assemble and service the race car to ensure optimal performance.
