Job Description:
• Monday - Friday , 20-40 hours (1 full time opening, 2 part time openings)
• PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE and willingness to learn
• Efficiently complete work orders on ATV, UTV, Motorcycle/Scooter, Snowmobile, Lawn & Garden equipment, etc
to a high standard: set-up, service, diagnose, and repair
• Perform routine service inspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major components
• Assist in the setup and testing of new powersport and garden products
• Move vehicles and trailers of all sizes using a variety of equipment (truck, forklift, tractor, etc)
• Work with the Service & Parts Manager to complete work in a timely manner
• Handle multiple work orders and utilize computer system to document all work performed
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install electronical accessories
• Maintain leading-edge knowledge of powersport diagnosis technology
• Maintain clean workstation
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and in good working condition
• Attend training seminars/service courses to remain certified according to dealership standards
• Assist in other duties as needed
Requirements:
• 3-5 Years Experience required.
• Powersport technician degree preferred.
• Must be highly motivated and hard working.
• Must be honest and reliable.
• Must be motivated to learn new skills, etc.
• Must have strong attention to detail and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of engine components and adjustments, service operations and parts management, fuel and lubrication systems, and testing electrical systems and engine management systems required.
• Must be able to Haul, Load/Unload and have Trailering ability.
• Excellent Communication: ability to interact professionally with other staff, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to honestly and openly communicate any mistakes or mishaps made.
• Good problem solving / troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated/ ability to work independently.
