Job Description

Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC on a full-time basis. The Role We are seeking a Motorsports Shipping / Receiving and Parts Technician to oversee the management and distribution of materials and supplies for the GM Motorsports research and development center. Lead the international and domestic shipping of race supplies and components to various race teams and partners. Perform additional procurement and inventory-related tasks as needed. What You'll Do Manage Shipments: Oversee both international and domestic shipments to and from the Charlotte Technical Center. Documentation: Prepare necessary documentation for international shipments, including customs forms, ATA carnets, and more. Dangerous Goods: Collaborate with the Environmental team to handle the shipment of dangerous goods from the site. Material Transport: Transport materials from local partner race team shops. Supply Management: Manage and distribute supplies and materials throughout the Charlotte Technical Center. Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with corporate purchasing and safety policies and procedures. External Communication: Maintain frequent contact with individuals outside the work group. Critical Shipments: Prepare and package critical materials for shipping from the Charlotte Technical Center. #LI-LP2
