About the position
Responsibilities
• Use your Catia experience and analytical thinking skills for parts design
• Collaborate with various members of the race program teams using a strong client-oriented focus
• Partner with others to learn from and share knowledge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
• 3+ years' experience designing parts for automotive, motorsports, aerospace (or similar) industry
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA or 3DX) and FEA tools (HyperMesh, Abaqus)
• Strong understanding of part design, composite and metal alloys materials, and rapid prototyping technology
• Solid and surface modeling
• Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and improvements
• Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot quickly and efficiently
• Passion for motorsports and a desire to contribute to the team's success
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics
• Knowledge of aerodynamics
Nice-to-haves
