About the position
Responsibilities
• Lead the day-to-day management of select partner accounts under the supervision of the Head of Partnerships.
• Develop and plan partnership activation strategies that deliver on partner objectives.
• Collaborate with the team to create custom decks and pitch activation programs to partners.
• Analyze performance data to create insights that inform future applications for partner benefit and ensure sponsorship ROI.
• Lead a team of partnership managers responsible for implementing activation programs and ensuring deliverables are executed as planned.
• Support business development initiatives with creative strategies for informed activation concepts.
• Develop and foster strong, collaborative relationships with partners to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
• Assist the team with special projects and roles as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of the broader sponsorship landscape, trends, and activation tactics.
Requirements
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
• 6+ years' experience in sports or entertainment marketing with a focus on partnership management and activation
• Demonstrated strategic and creative thinker
• Proven track record of creating and executing strategic activation plans
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop informed, concise, and effective materials for partners
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Ability to lead and think creatively
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment, fostering positive communication and relationships
• Ability to carry out responsibilities with minimal direction
• Flexibility to react calmly under stressful circumstances
• Previous agency experience and knowledge of the NASCAR/motorsports industry is valued
• Ability to travel to some race weekends and be comfortable with extended days/nights during partnership activation periods.
