Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC on a full-time basis. The Role We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department . Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronics systems that enhance the productivity and capabilities of our aerodynamics development processes for both motorsport and high-performance production vehicles. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to tackle a variety of challenging technical and engineering obstacles. Your role is crucial and will significantly contribute to our competitiveness. What You’ll Do • Execute the design, development, and integration of complex mechatronic systems to be used for automotive and aerodynamic testing applications. • Develop detailed system architectures and specifications that meet or exceed product requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers. • Liaise with external suppliers, evaluate and select appropriate components and technologies for system designs. • Conduct system-level testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of the systems you develop. • Oversee the delivery of both prototype and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing. • Support your solutions after deployment. • Prepare and present detailed technical reports, specifications, and presentations to stakeholders. #LI-LP2
