Service Manager Job Description
Duties Include:
• Lead technicians, service advisors, and porters.
• Direct, assist, and motivate department personnel to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency while maintaining the highest customer service standards.
• Prepare a daily schedule for technicians and porters.
• Ensure the shop is clean and organized.
• Plan and lead weekly departmental meetings.
• Ensure warranty claims are filed in a timely manner.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all manufacturer reps, as well as, all department heads.
• Handle customer concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.
• Assisting with or performing administrative tasks, such as managing and updating repair orders, processing new orders, and tracking inventory.
• Help to train new employees in company procedures.
• Working knowledge of a Dealership Management System
Qualifications:
• 3 years current, verifiable experience as a service manager.
• Highly detailed and organized
• Computer and technology savvy
• Must demonstrate extraordinary communication skills
• Maintains a clean and safe work area
• Performance oriented and goal driven
• Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to provide amazing customer experiences.
• Proven track record of developing and coaching others
• Willing to complete pre-employment screening
• Clean, valid drivers license with motorcycle endorsement
