ATV / Motorsport Test Technician

Advantage Technical is seeking an ATV / Motorsport Test Technician to support their Research Team in Raymond, OH. The role involves installing data equipment on customer vehicles, performing vehicle testing, and coordinating customer visits for data installation. Responsibilities • Support Research Team with communication, coordination, planning, and instrumentation of data equipment to customer vehicles • Installing data equipment onto customer vehicles, with the ability to troubleshoot as needed • Communicating with customers: Email and phone calls, to establish interest and availability • Coordinating visits with customers to install data equipment. Aligning multiple customers for one trip • Create trip itineraries to booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and arranging all logistics for customer visits • Ride/drive ATVs and SxSs at closed test courses and public/private areas • Perform vehicle testing per outlined test procedures and requirements • Assemble and disassemble complete vehicles using engineering drawings, service manuals, and communicate with engineering staff • Perform vehicle maintenance/inspections/basic diagnostics • Be attentive to detail during testing and identify concerns/problems as they arise • Communicate/document concerns with project leaders, utilizing a high level of detail and a clear understanding of the situation/problem • Perform vehicle tear down for part confirmation and sub-component section evaluations • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment Skills • Support Research Team with communication, coordination, planning, and instrumentation of data equipment to customer vehicles • Installing data equipment onto customer vehicles, with the ability to troubleshoot as needed • Communicating with customers: Email and phone calls, to establish interest and availability • Coordinating visits with customers to install data equipment.
