Our expansive and growing automotive dealership is currently seeking to expand our team with a Permanent, Full-Time Finance and Insurance Manager! Job Summary: Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance and Insurance Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer experience for our clients. You will assist in sales negotiations and writing up deals, oversee maintenance and improvement of showroom aesthetics and cleanliness, train and guide sales consultants, execute company policies and procedures, and more. The requirements: • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry • Strong financial acumen, enough to put the calculator on your phone to shame • A passion for leading and managing change for the purpose of continuous improvement • Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driving abstract required • VSA (Vehicle Sales Authority) Certification required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, sound business judgment and attention to detail • Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently • Knowledge of rules surrounding confidentiality, information governance and data protection • Confident working under pressure and able to prioritize work for self and others • Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to deal diplomatically with client queries/concerns and diffuse potentially difficult situations The job: • Lead all sales consultants and oversee new and used sales, participate in negotiations, and offer guidance, tips, and training, all for the purpose of providing a truly awesome customer service experience for every single client that walks through the door • Attract and retain great talent by creating the greatest work environment imaginable • Execute all company policies and processes with great success • Offer new ideas to improve customer service and workplace functionality • Maintain budgeted revenue and expense objectives because it’s your passion, or at least you pretend it is • Keep all documents and information safe and secure • Keep up-to-date with the manufacturer's current finance and leasing programs and promotions, as well as those of the banking institutions while providing that information o the sales team on an ongoing basis Our hiring process: • You find or are sent this job ad. • You read the ad. • It piques your interest. • You tell us you’re interested (apply, email, call, shout from the rooftops). • We call you for a quick chat, and you tell us all about how awesome you are. • You come in to meet the team and prove yourself worthy. • You’re hired! • You brag to all your friends and family about your sweet new life.
