Job Description
We’re a high growth e-commerce company focused on motorsport safety gear. We are hiring a Social Media & E-Commerce Marketing Specialist to join our team and focus on revenue growth through day-to-day marketing across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, email, and text (SMS)—with strong working knowledge of Shopify. This role is ideal for someone who understands direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing, loves short-form video and images, and knows how to build a content engine that drives revenue.
What You’ll Do
Social Media (TikTok / Instagram / Facebook)
• Plan and publish content daily across TikTok, Instagram (Reels/Stories), and Facebook
• Create short-form video content (filming, editing, captions, hooks, CTAs) in our in house studio
• Manage a content calendar and maintain a consistent posting cadence
• Engage with the community (comments, DMs), build trust, and drive traffic to product pages
• Identify trends in motorsports and short-form content, and adapt quickly
• Coordinate giveaways, UGC (user-generated content), and influencer collaborations
Email + Text Marketing
• Build and manage campaigns and flows for email + SMS (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, winback)
• Write marketing copy that matches the brand voice and converts
• Segment audiences and improve performance using data (open rate, CTR, conversion, revenue per send)
Shopify + E-Commerce Support
• Work inside Shopify to support launches and campaigns (product pages, collections, tags, basic merchandising)
• Coordinate promotions (discount codes, bundles, featured products) and ensure everything is accurate
• Partner with the team to align product availability, shipping timelines, and messaging
Reporting + Optimization
• Track and report weekly on performance (traffic, conversion, CAC/ROAS if applicable, email/SMS revenue, top content)
• Test creative angles, posting times, offers, and messaging to improve results over time
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience running social media for an e-commerce brand (portfolio or examples required)
• Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook best practices
• Experience with email marketing and SMS/text marketing (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Attentive, Postscript, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Shopify (comfortable navigating products, collections, basic merchandising)
• Ability to create/edit short-form video (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similar)
• Strong copywriting skills (hooks, CTAs, product benefits, offers)
• Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple campaigns at once
Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Familiarity with motorsports, karting, track day culture, or racing safety standards (SFI/FIA knowledge a plus)
• Experience with Meta Ads or boosting high-performing posts
• Experience with influencer/affiliate programs
• Product photography or basic lighting/audio setup for filming
• GA4, Shopify analytics, or heatmap tools experience
