Automotive Service Technician

We are looking to expand our team and are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to help us continue providing top-notch service and quality installations. Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Automotive Technician to join our growing team. As an Automotive Technician at DV8 Motorsports, you will play a critical role in assisting our customers with their aftermarket accessory needs by providing professional installation, maintenance, and repair services for a wide variety of vehicle models. Responsibilities: • Perform high-quality installations of aftermarket automotive accessories including suspension lifts, bumpers, wheels, tires, lighting, audio systems, and other custom parts. • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicles, ensuring proper functionality and customer satisfaction. • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the proper fitment and performance of aftermarket accessories. • Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth communication between customers, sales, and technicians. • Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain a clean, organized work environment. • Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with all safety standards. • Ensure that all work is completed on time, to specifications, and within the highest quality standards. • Assist with the general maintenance of the shop and tools. Requirements: • Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with experience in custom or aftermarket parts and accessories. • Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair procedures. • Ability to perform installations on a variety of vehicle types (trucks, SUVs, cars, etc.). • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues. • Must have your own set of tools. • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently. • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • High school diploma or equivalent; certification from an automotive technical school is a plus. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with suspension lifts, performance parts, lighting kits, audio systems, or similar aftermarket accessories. • ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
