Finance Manager/Controller

Lauderdale, FL, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager/Controller to oversee financial operations, manage customer financing, and handle title processing. This is a key leadership role ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in dealership accounting, deal structuring, and bank contracts. Responsibilities • Manage daily accounting operations (A/P, A/R, general ledger) • Prepare monthly financial statements and complete month-end close • Reconcile bank accounts, schedules, and balance sheet accounts • Structure and secure financing for vehicle purchases • Accurately complete and submit bank contracts and loan documentation • Work with lenders to obtain approvals, competitive rates, and funding • Process vehicle deals, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete • Handle title work, registrations, and lien processing • Ensure all deals comply with federal, state, and lender requirements • Manage high-value transactions with accuracy and attention to detail • Maintain organized deal jackets and ensure timely funding • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and overall financial performance • Maintain strong internal controls and office procedures • Build and maintain relationships with lenders and customers • Maximize profitability per deal while delivering excellent customer service Qualifications • 10+ years of automotive finance experience required • Proven ability to structure deals and complete bank contracts • Experience with title work and dealership deal processing preferred • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and lending practices • Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting • Experience with dealership system Dealertrack preferred • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills • High level of integrity and attention to detail Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Work Location: In person
