Mechanic Wanted - Part-Time or Full-Time
Location: Mid-Willamette Valley
A well-equipped private shop in the Mid-Willamette Valley is seeking a clean, self-motivated mechanic for light-duty fleet service and off-road race vehicle prep . This role supports both commercial vehicle maintenance and a competitive race program , offering flexible hours in a calm, well-supplied environment - without the pressure of flat-rate billing .
What You'll Do:
• Maintain Ford E250/E350 vans and F150 pickups (2004-2016)
• Prep Broncos, Jeeps, UTVs and Race UTVs , for off-road events
• Perform R&R of motors , drivetrain service, and general mechanical work
• Route and assemble braided fuel lines , cooling, and basic plumbing systems
• Assist with light fabrication - grinding, tack welding, fit-up
• Follow direction on pre-designed mechanical builds
• Support travel/pit crew operations at occasional race events
Shop Resources:
• Heated and cooled private facility
• Full Snap-On tool suite & fabrication equipment
• ProDemand diagnostic software access
• NAPA Car Care ProLink system with OEM charge accounts
• Light recordkeeping only - no billing duties
Requirements:
• Experienced with Automotive, Off Racing vehicles, UTV, Classics
• Computer literate (diagnostic tools, parts software)
• Clean, organized, and able to work independently
• Willing to follow direction on custom projects
• Clean driving record required
• Open to part-time or full-time
• Full-time includes health insurance

Note: Major engine & transmission rebuilds are outsourced. This role focuses on fleet upkeep, race prep, and project completion - not teardown work .

- Experienced with Automotive, Off Racing vehicles, UTV, Classics
