Motorcycle and Kart Technician

Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics preferred - Proven experience as a motorcycle and kart technician or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of motorcycle and kart components, systems, and mechanics - Proficiency in diagnosing technical issues and performing repairs - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams - Experience with tools and equipment used in motorcycle and kart maintenance and repair - Understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the workshop environment - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Physical stamina and manual dexterity for hands-on work - Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. - Certification from recognized motorcycle or automotive training programs is a plus • Must be willing to travel (Events) Responsibilities - Conduct thorough inspections of motorcycles and karts to assess operational condition and safety. - Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. - Carry out repairs, modifications, and routine maintenance on motorcycles and karts. - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service tasks and repairs. - Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and work performed for each vehicle. - Advise customers on maintenance practices, repairs needed, and upgrades. - Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturer protocols. - Ensure a clean and organized workspace that complies with safety regulations. - Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies necessary for repairs. - Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers regarding their vehicles. - Assist in the training of junior technicians or apprentices as needed.
