Position Summary GhostLap is seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to oversee the deployment of our technology at major motorsports events nationwide. This is a hands-on role combining logistics, technical setup, and field operations. You will be responsible for hauling and installing equipment, maintaining system readiness, and acting as the primary on-site contact. This position requires full-time travel throughout the IndyCar season, attending all races on the calendar. Key Responsibilities: • Transport and set up camera equipment at race tracks nationwide. • Install and mount camera systems securely around event sites. • Troubleshoot basic technical and logistical issues during setups. • Coordinate logistics and manage on-site operations independently. • Ensure timely, professional execution of all race event deployments. • Work closely with event personnel, clients, and internal teams. Requirements: • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Indianapolis, Indiana. • Must be able and willing to travel 100% during the racing season (including weekends). • Strong mechanical aptitude for mounting and installing technical hardware. • Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 75 lbs. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check. • Prior experience in event operations, logistics, or technical fieldwork preferred. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in motorsports, live events, or field operations. • Basic computer skills and ability to configure simple networks. • Experience making and terminating Cat5/Cat6 network cables. • Familiarity with IP cameras, PoE networking, or field-based tech setups.
