About the position The Social Media Manager, Motorsports at Levelwing is responsible for managing the social media presence for various motorsports events and series, including INDYCAR, Formula 1, NASCAR, and MotoGP. This role requires a deep passion for motorsports and a creative approach to engaging with fans through innovative social media strategies. The manager will collaborate with the Director of Social Media and other strategists to enhance brand visibility and community engagement in the fast-paced world of motorsports. Responsibilities • Leverage data and insights to inform recommendations and drive action. , • Own the development of monthly content calendars aligned with core pillars. , • Maintain awareness of social trends and engage in real-time conversations relevant to motorsports brands. , • Manage client scheduling and reporting tools with oversight from the Senior Social Strategist. , • Pull post-performance data for monthly reporting and insights documents. , • Manage influencer content and integrate it into the existing content calendar. , • Monitor the social landscape for cultural and platform-specific trends. , • Collaborate with the Creative team to schedule and deploy approved content. , • Work with the Senior Social Strategist on strategic brand responses to cultural moments and crisis management protocols. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. , • Three or more years of experience in an agency or relevant industry. , • Experience with social scheduling tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Sprout. , • Experience with Sprinklr or Khoros is highly desired. , • Experience in post copy assistance is a plus. , • Ability to identify trends and insights in social platforms. , • Direct social analytics experience is a plus. , • Experience across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. , • Proficiency in video/photo editing software such as Adobe Premier or CapCut. , • In-depth understanding of motorsports industry trends and events. , • Knowledge of key racing series, major events, and their impact on fan engagement. , • Familiarity with motorsports audience and branding/sponsorships. , • Skilled in creating and curating visually compelling motorsports content. , • Basic knowledge of Excel and intermediate experience in Google Suite.
