Foutz Motorsports Lead CNC Operator / CNC programmer - Off-Road Components Foutz Motorsports off-road shop has an immediate position open for an experienced CNC mill and lathe operator/ programmer. This person must pay close attention to detail, be intelligent and use common sense. Ability to self-start and follow directions. Have experience in machine shop operations using HAAS CNC equipment. Must have CNC programming experience for both mill and lathe operations. Experience with Fusion 360 a plus. Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Daily tasks of setting up CNC jobs in the mill and lathe • Checking tolerances and changing over tooling • Setting tools and configuring tool offsets and evaluate tool use • Programming CNC jobs to be run from solid models provided for mill and lathe operations including 4 axis milling and live tool lathe operations • Ability to read blueprints and build to fixtures for the machines as needed • Attention to detail on prints to ensure ALL product is correct and passes QC • Ability get to work on time every day without drama. • Self-starter and hard worker to meet deadlines Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Experience in operating multiple CNC machines at the same time including setting up new jobs from scratch and changing over work holding tooling. • Experience in programming parts to be run on CNC mill and lathe including live tool lathe and 4th axis mill work. • Ability to set tools and fixtures and set offsets etc to make correct parts • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and be a team player to accomplish the company goals • Self-motivated, assertive, and responds to production metrics • Must know how to read and operate basic measurement tools (tape measure, protractor, calipers, ETC) • Contributes to building a positive team spirit and puts success of team above own interests • MUST have reliable transportation to get to work on time every time. • Be willing to work and be productive at all times. Focus on getting the jobs done. Summary of Experience and Education • Must be detail oriented and able to pay close attention to detail and follow instructions • Must have at least 3 years experience in CNC shop daily operations • Must have at least 3 years experience in CNC programming Compensation • Compensation $28 - + up – Depending On Experience with growth possibilities. • Hours are shift dependent and varying – normally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm • Job is full time on location at our main facility in Mesa Arizona Qualifications • CAM programming Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Employee discount • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: • Mesa, AZ 85205 (Required) Work Location: In person
