About the position HMD Trucking Inc. is seeking a highly motivated IT Specialist to provide technical support and maintenance for users' PCs, tablets, software, and printers/scanners. This role involves troubleshooting software and hardware issues, managing the PBX system, and ensuring the security of IT systems. The position is integral to the company's operations, supporting a growing team in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities • Provide technical support and maintenance for users' PCs, tablets, software, and printers/scanners. , • Troubleshoot software and hardware for end users. , • Set up, configure, and distribute IT equipment for new hires. , • Manage PBX system and provision IP phones. , • Deliver technical support via email, phone, and in-person, while prioritizing tasks effectively. , • Configure firewalls, routers, and other networking equipment. , • Ensure the security and confidentiality of IT systems and company data. Requirements • Proficiency in English (spoken and written). , • Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT-related field. , • Strong technical and software knowledge, including PC setup and phone system management. , • Ability to solve problems and think critically under pressure. , • Strong time-management and multitasking skills. , • A deep understanding of IT security and confidentiality best practices. Qualifications
