Dragway Staff

Responsibilities • Assist with race operation tasks such as, but not limited to: Starting Line, Staging Lanes, Water Box, Back of Staging, Tower Operations, and Tech Inspection • Assist and perform surface prep, maintenance, and incident cleaning of the track. • Assist with pre-event facility readiness, including moving fencing, hanging temporary signage, assisting with racer stacking/parking, etc. • Perform tasks on equipment (tractors/scrubbers/sweepers/etc) • Collaborate with other co-workers on tasks. • Report any issues to Dragstrip management. • The hours are dynamic based on the needs for events, but can be long depending on the type of event we are running. Requirements and skills • Willingness to learn aspects of Dragstrip operations • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and processes. • Experience using basic hand tools. • Ability to read and comprehend basic operator manuals. Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
