Department: Sales & MerchandisingReports to: VP of Sales & MerchandisingEmployment Type: Full-Time, On-SiteJob OverviewAs a Customer Sales Specialist, you will serve as a key contact and liaison for customers to ensure their total satisfaction. You will interact with customers on an ongoing basis, entering orders, handling requests and providing support needed in a timely, professional and courteous manner. The ideal candidate loves talking to people and proactively solving issues. You will be responsible for supporting customers' inquiries and resolving any issues. ResponsibilitiesEnsure every customer experience is top notch in qualityCommunicate with customers via phone, email, or in-personHandle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issuesProvide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing, and availability Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claimsWork with internal departments to meet customer's needsProvide accurate quotes to customers with current price, lead time, and termsEnter purchase orders, process sales orders in Traverse system, acknowledge orders to customers, and confirm the delivery schedule.Review open sales order reports and check for on-time delivery schedules.Data entry in various platformsReport to management all important customer concerns and inquiries in a timely manner.Basic QualificationsMust have a High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workStrong Microsoft program and data-entry skillsComfortable talking on the phone to customersPrevious sales or customer service experienceAbility to resolve routine problems and questions independently.Ability to pay close attention to details and use time effectively.Excellent oral and written communication skills with good vocabulary, proper grammar, and the ability to independently compose routine written communications.Work status and EnvironmentThe physical environment requires the employee to work inside in air conditioned environment. May be requested to work overtime as needed.This is a full-time position working onsite, M-F. Qualifications

  • Basic QualificationsMust have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Strong Microsoft program and data-entry skills
  • Comfortable talking on the phone to customers
  • Previous sales or customer service experience
  • Ability to resolve routine problems and questions independently
  • Ability to pay close attention to details and use time effectively
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with good vocabulary, proper grammar, and the ability to independently compose routine written communications
