Automotive Technician with Motorsports Background / Circuit Florida Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician with a motorsports background to join our team at Circuit Florida. This role involves and is not limited to maintaining, repairing, and optimizing vehicles, with a focus on performance and race-ready preparation. This is an initial part-time position with planned transition to full-time by January 2026. Responsibilities • Diagnose and maintain / repair automotive systems, (Tires, Brakes, suspension, and engine fluids). • Conduct pre-race/track day inspections and post-race/track day maintenance to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. • Maintain detailed records of repairs, modifications, and performance data. • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and motorsport trends. Qualifications • 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on high-performance or motorsport vehicles. • Proven track record in motorsports (e.g., drag racing, circuit racing, or rally). • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, performance tuning software, fabrication techniques and tire changing / balancing equipment. • Ability to perform String Alignments • Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, suspension geometry, and engine management systems. • ASE certifications or equivalent preferred. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid driver’s license required. • Must be available to work both weekdays and weekends Benefits • Competitive salary. • Company health & dental insurance available. • Paid time off and holidays.
