Jim Trenary Motorsports is currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Motorsports Parts & Service Counter Specialist. If you have a deep love for motorsports, excellent customer service skills, and a strong technical understanding of motorsports parts and equipment, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers at the parts counter with enthusiasm and a customer-centric approach. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of motorsports parts and accessories to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers. Assist customers in identifying the correct parts and accessories for their specific motorsports vehicles or equipment. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system. Manage and maintain the inventory of motorsports parts, ensuring proper stocking levels and organization. Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional and courteous manner. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in motorsports parts and technologies. Upsell and promote additional products and services to customers to enhance their motorsports experience. Qualifications: Passion for motorsports and a strong understanding of various motorsports vehicles (e.g., motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, etc.). Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or motorsports environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Strong technical knowledge of motorsports parts, accessories, and aftermarket products. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to assist customers effectively. Ability to lift and carry heavy motorsports parts or equipment as required. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in motorsports or automotive fields are advantageous.
